Connected by Nature, United We Flourish
We're Dawn and Jack Schwem, and we're building something here in Bozeman: a practice of reciprocity with the land, moving with intention, and making medicine from what grows around us.
Hidden Moon is an ongoing project offering herbal products crafted from Montana plants and Qi Gong classes that teach your body to listen to itself. We're not selling a lifestyle—we're inviting you into work we're already doing, relationships we're already tending.
Where Ancient Wisdom Meets Mountain Living
Welcome to Hidden Moon. We offer two paths to wellness rooted in nature's rhythms. Our ForestFolk Provisions line features handcrafted herbal products honoring traditional plant wisdom. We're pleased to welcome Jack T. G. Schwem, licensed acupuncturist, who leads Qi Gong classes throughout the year, moving outdoors when the season permits. Founded by Dawn Schwem in Bozeman, Montana, Hidden Moon continues the Hungry Heart Quests tradition of connecting people to the healing power of the natural world.
Qi Gong Classes
Jack's classes are for people who want greater connection with their own bodies—whether that's motivated by chronic pain, stress that won't quit, athletic optimization, or just the vague sense that you're operating on autopilot.
The practices are simple: breathing, movement, attention. What they cultivate isn't simple: reliable internal awareness, the capacity to connect your conscious and unconscious minds, steadiness when things get chaotic.
Classes meet in Bozeman. Jack also shares teachings on YouTube for people who want to explore on their own time.
ForestFolk Provisions
Dawn's herbal products are for people who've learned that healthcare access isn't guaranteed—whether because of cost, availability, or trust that's been broken. Plant medicine isn't a replacement for everything, but it's medicine you can hold in your hand, made by someone in your community.
Everything's made with local beeswax and foraged and cultivated herbs.
Pick them up at SomaSmith (Medical Arts Building, Suite 3008) or contact Dawn directly.
